Moblog photo fun

I just put together a Nokia image upload server so that I can upload photos straight to my server from my cell. You can see the photos I've uploaded so far in my gallery. I'm pondering a good way to make an RSS feed out of uploads, while consolidating common events into single posts. I'll see what I can find/write tomorrow, when I'm not in dire need of sleep.

cool script. (nice site, on the whole, btw)

I've put up a couple instructions and a demo at http://scottt.ca/sites/projects/6600_image_uploader/

Argh! please help....so far the script works and everything but the login fails. what is the format of the password file, I have tried everything from htpasswd plain text to MD5 etc...without success, this is what I get in the httpd error log:

calling upload.pl with params:Version,Username,Password,Language with url params:keywords request uri: / reading password file Content-Length: 16

1 Version=1.0 failed login for xyz

Any clues as to the password file syntax??? Please help, this one drives me nuts... Cheers, mt

I made a JSP implementation of the upload server API, in case anyone is interested in running it in a Java environment. It's very crude and requires editing of the JSP files to change paths, et.c., but should be quite easy to work with anyway. The code is at http://dll.nu/image_upload_040307.tgz

At least on my 3650, the menu is only available from the thumbnail view. If you're viewing a photo, you must press "back" and select it from the directory list.
