Missing stops on the MBTA?

I just saw a confusing sight in the train on my way to work today. The map of the Red Line in the car was missing all stops after Harvard (being Porter, Davis, and Alewife). The sign was a sticker and seemed relatively new (see below). It looks like a printing error to me, but you would think that someone would notice before putting more than one up.

Perhaps someone has been reading too much Harry Potter and thought it would be great fun to have the equivalent of a Platform 9 3/4.....

Of course. But why was it showing up on an in-use car with what looked like a new sticker?

They changed alot of stations and names on the Red Line. Downtown Crossing used to be called "Washington."

Huh - I hadn't noticed that. I still wonder why a new-looking sticker was in fact very old.
