Disco Moscow

This is perhaps the funniest video I've seen in a long time. Disco never dies. The best part is that the song at the end is something that Geekwad showed me way back in high school. [from BoingBoing link-fu]

There's a superb and magical shot of Moscow at night over at http://www.mimico-by-the-lake/moscow.htm.

Beware, though - beautiful as it is, it appears to be heavily copyrighted!

I wish I knew. So far, I've only been able to pick out the name...or, rather, guess that it's called Moscau/Moscow. It'd be a good project to research.

I think it might be "Moscow Discow" by Telex from 1979. I can't find it anywhere to download though.

Hello all, 'also researching the song in that videoclip... it's not the Telex song though -- I found a preview and it's something completely different ( http://212.176.41.4:777/preview/184469.mp3 ). If anybody finds the right one, drop me a line to lepetitg (at) gmail (dot) com. cheers!

Found it... it's by "Dschinghis Khan", the song is called "Moskau", and there's a... very interesting video here: http://www.koreus.com/files/200408/dschinghiskhan-moskau.html

The song can be bought on iTunes (for real).
