I'm a programmer and a builder. Not simply by profession, but by nature. I love making things, designing things and letting them live out their little lives doing whatever they're supposed to do. And more recently, I've come to appreciate how they can help us - as people - communicate.
I graduated from RIT in 2005 with a BS in CS. At RIT, I was able to learn some languages (and about languages, human and computer), learn about the nature of the world and how groups of people work, learn about robotics, and meet oodles of interesting people.
For a more professional view of me, check out my résumé.
I'm doing an on-going experiment in information transparency and have made my life very visible. Some people do this through blogs by writing little bits of their life every day. But why write things by hand when you can get a computer to do it for you?
Throughout my site, my current status is presented. It's presented using an open-source suite of tools that I'm developing known as physstat.
I have been prowling the concrete wilderness for 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 29 seconds. Before that, I was at work.
It is my firm belief that it is a mistake to hold firm beliefs.
I often take screenshots of my system. I've an archive of them as well. If you're interested in what I run on my computer, you can check out my list of software that I use.

I'm very easy to contact and I usually respond promptly. I read my email obsessively, even if I may be offline on instant messaging services. If I don't respond to an email in over a week, I'm most likely dead.
My GnuPG
public key. Alternatively,
grab it from a public keyserver.
