I made this guy in the GIMP. I used my brother's 4"x5" Wacom tablet, which is not the easiest thing to work with.
The head was drawn using the brushes built into the GIMP, which I think are too thick. The rest was drawn with my brush settings (Square, 45 degree rotation, very tall aspect ratio).
Note: this is unlikely to be finished any time soon.
